Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design process from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop innovative designs that embody our vision and objectives, enhancing the visitor experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with curators, content planners, and digital teams to develop integrated and cohesive designs.
  • Foster productive design discussions and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain a unified vision and approach.

Building Facilities:

  • Leverage your design expertise to create cohesive and functional designs that meet both aesthetic and practical requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility management to balance aesthetics, information delivery, and visitor engagement, ensuring cohesive and functional design solutions.

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors and contractors involved in the architectural design process.
  • Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and completion within set deadlines.

User-Centered Design:

  • Develop designs prioritizing visitor comfort, engagement, accessibility, and safety, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
  • Continuously assess and refine designs based on user feedback and emerging best practices in user-centered design.

Project Diversification:

  • Contribute to cultural projects not directly related to architectural design, applying your design skills and expertise to various initiatives.
  • Adapt to diverse project requirements and collaborate with different teams to ensure successful project outcomes across domains.

Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architectural Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
