Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.

**As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for**:

- Reading and interpreting schematics and instrumentation and PI&D diagrams and understand the use of tools and measuring instruments.
- Installing, maintaining, and testing a wide variety of industrial instrumentation such as control valves, transmitters, Controlling and flow pressure and temperature meters
- Having ability to use mathematics and algebra to scale and calibrate process instrumentation
- Reading/interpreting engineering drawings to install, calibrate, and maintain project instrumentation systems.
- Performing assembly and tubing layout of pressure test systems
- Performing tube bending and pressure testing.
- Having ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Having ability to assembly/disassembly, adjust and install instrument materials to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
- Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
- Having the ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, completion work forms

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have technical degree of Instrumentation Technology Or Control Systems Instrumentation
- Have knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves and safety glass etc.)
- Have deftness and attention to detail
- Be proficient in English
