**Key Skills Required**:
**Experience**:
The ORAN Specialist will offer advanced technical support for ORAN-based solutions, including SaaS, PaaS, LaaS, and O-Cloud technologies. This role ensures adherence to ORAN standards while driving innovation in network infrastructure, requiring excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the architecture and design of ORAN networks.
- Integrate Central Units (CU), Distributed Units (DU), and Radio Units (RU) with O-Cloud infrastructure.
- Implement cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Set up test environments and perform acceptance testing in both lab and live settings.

**Cloud Deployment & O-Cloud Integration Experience**:

- Deploy ORAN on O-Cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability and orchestration across cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize resource management.

**RIC, xApps & rApps Deployment Experience**:

- Deploy Near-Real-Time (Near-RT) and Non-Real-Time (Non-RT) RIC for network optimization.
- Integrate xApps and rApps to enable automation and AI/ML-driven optimization.
- Focus on use cases such as traffic steering and dynamic spectrum sharing.

**Self-Organizing Networks (SON) Implementation Knowledge**:

- Implement SON features for self-configuration, optimization, and self-healing.
- Integrate SON with RIC to enhance automation.
- Utilize AI/ML algorithms for SON tasks such as automatic neighbor relations (ANR) and capacity management.

**Open RAN Network Planning & Deployment**:

- Plan and deploy ORAN networks using cloud-native architecture.
- Ensure interoperability of multi-vendor components in line with O-RAN standards.
- Leverage RIC and SON for dynamic network optimization.
- Diagnose and improve ORAN performance through real-time data analysis.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in ORAN engineering, design, and optimization.
- Strong expertise in ORAN architecture, protocols, and technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and O-Cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

**Technical Skills**:

- Deep knowledge of ORAN, 5G NR, 4G LTE, and associated technologies (SON, MEC, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in CU, DU, and RU design and deployment.
- Proficiency in network automation, virtualization, cloud-native architecture, private 5G use cases, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with AI/ML for network optimization.
- Understanding of open interfaces (F1, E2, X2) and Open RAN's focus on interoperability.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages, particularly Python.

**Certifications**:

- Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
- Certifications in cloud architecture (Google, Azure, AWS).
- Industry-standard certifications in SDN NFV (associate, professional, or expert level).

**Total Industry Experience**:

- 8-10+ years.

**Language Proficiency**:

- Must be fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
