**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and file accurate and timely **VAT, Zakat, and Withholding Tax** returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
- Monitor changes in local tax laws and ensure company compliance.
- Reconcile tax accounts and prepare reports for management and auditors.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits or inspections.
- Ensure proper documentation of all tax-related transactions and supporting documents.
- Maintain up-to-date records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, legal, HR) to validate tax-related matters.
- Assist in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing as needed.
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA is a plus).
- Minimum **5+ years of accounting experience**, with at least **2 years in VAT/taxation in Saudi Arabia**.
- In-depth knowledge of **Saudi tax regulations**, including **ZATCA** requirements.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.
- Experience is **mandatory** in the events industry.
- Familiarity with other GCC tax regulations is a plus.
