IT System and Network Support

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Windows Server Management**:
- Administer, maintain, and support **Windows Server environments** (2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Manage **Active Directory (AD)**, **Group Policy**, **DNS**, **DHCP**, and **File Services**.
- Configure and support **Windows Server features** like IIS, FSRM,print servers, and WSUS.
- Perform regular **patch management** and ensure servers are up-to-date with security updates.
- Monitor server performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, disk, and network resources.
- Must have knowledge in On-premises and Cloud infrastructure.
- Must have good knowledge in windows and client operating systems.
- **Network Administration**:
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot **LAN/WAN infrastructure** including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ensure **network security** through configuring firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Handle **IP address management (IPAM)** and VLAN configurations to maintain network efficiency and security.
- Should have knowledge in voip
- **Backup & Disaster Recovery**:
- Implement and manage **backup solutions** using tools like **Veeam**, **Acronis**, or **Windows Server Backup**.
- Develop and test **disaster recovery plans** ensuring business continuity in case of failure.
- **Security & Compliance**:
- Enforce **network and system security** through configurations, auditing, and adherence to policies.
- Configure and maintain **firewalls**, **IDS/IPS** systems, and **VPN** access for secure remote connections.
- Participate in **security audits** and vulnerability assessments for Windows Server and network systems.
- **Storage**:
- Must have experience in NAS or SAN storage architecture.
- Good Knowledge in file sharing protocols and other Access control permissions
- **Support & Troubleshooting**:
- Provide **support** for server and network issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
- Document resolutions and contribute to a knowledge base for ongoing support.
- **Collaboration & Documentation**:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between IT infrastructure, business needs, and security practices.
- Maintain **n**system configurations**, and**operational documentation* for knowledge sharing and audits.

- **Minimum 4+ years of experience** in Windows Server administration and network management.
- Proven experience managing and supporting **Windows Server environments** (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Demonstrated experience managing **Active Directory**, **Group Policy**, **DNS**, **DHCP**, and **File/Print Services**.
- Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- **Technical Skills**:
- **Microsoft Windows Server Expertise**: Administration of various Windows Server roles, updates, patches, and configurations.
- **Network Infrastructure**: Understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, IP address management, and VPN setup.
- **Server Monitoring & Performance Tuning**: Proficient with tools like **Task Manager**, **Performance Monitor**, and third-party monitoring solutions.
- **Security Tools**: Firewalls (e.g., Windows Firewall, Fortigate VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- **Backup Solutions**: Experience with backup tools such as **Veeam**, **Acronis**, **Windows Server Backup**, or similar.
- Familiarity with **cloud-based infrastructure** (e.g., **Microsoft Azure**, AWS) is a plus.
- **Certifications**:
- **Microsoft Certified: Windows Server** (e.g., **MCSA** or **MCSE**).
- **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)** for networking.
- Cloud certifications are added advantage
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong **problem-solving** skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- **Communication** skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage **multiple priorities** effectively.
- **Attention to detail** in maintaining configurations, backups, and security practices.
