Parsons is now hiring an **Engineering Manager **who can work alongside, coordinate a team of professionals working within our expanding portfolio of private development projects. We need our Engineering Managers to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills. In this role you provide management and direction for the Private Assets development team alongside an Engineering department or a major section within one of the larger programs.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Review and Coordinate developer submissions,
- Liaise with the client appointed technical review team and
- If assigned to a major program, manage all engineering and design efforts for all disciplines required for the program.
- Monitor the quality and progress of each discipline on the project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
- Work closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity. Establish standards and procedures manuals for each discipline.
- Recommend improvements to department procedures.
- Support precontract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.
- Ensure performance within overhead budgets where appropriate for the discipline.
- Actively participate in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program.
- May head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field)
- 15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience with proven ability to perform.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
- Thorough understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required.
