**Context**:
As design consultants for the sitewide infrastructure project of Oxagon, we are currently looking for a Design Director (Land Development), who will report directly to the Program Technical Director and will involve in managing all the design aspects of the project and coordinating with the internal design teams.

The Design Director (Land Development) is responsible for the success of the project from a technical and programme perspective. He is also responsible for maintaining technical standards and providing effective management and guidance to the technical delivery team.

**Main duties**:

- Provide management and governance of the design team to achieve reliable project performance in terms of design solutions, timeliness and quality
- Source, build and maintain strong and effective client, stakeholders and internal team relationships
- Provide support to senior management team, engineering managers, leads and employees on the project to ensure project team technical and staff cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development

**Degrees**:

- Bachelor degree in Civil engineering

**Experience and Skills**:

- At least 20+ years’ relevant professional experience
- Previous experience in land development preferred
- Well established profile within the industry and actively involved in industry associations
- Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) will be an advantage
- Familiarity with the latest appropriate design softwares
- Current or previous experience in KSA preferred
- Manage and direct major projects successfully to budget and client specifications
- Display experience in the coordination, design, and delivery of projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects in a major infrastructure project
- Lead, manage, develop and resource a team effectively
- Build and maintain trusting and effective client relationships, and deliver excellent client service
- Extensive project management and consulting skills, achieving prescribed budget, time frame, and client requirements
- High-level communication skills to advise and guide complex project design development in a proactive manner and to represent the JV as a valuable contributor to the project
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant design codes, Local Regulatory Authority Guidelines, and KSA standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Arabic speaker preferred
