**Job Overview**:
The Technical Pre-Sales Lead will be responsible for presenting Software and hardware solutions to clients, partners, and prospects. He will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop effective sales strategies, product positioning, and technical content to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and analyze customer's technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand business objectives and design software solutions that meet customer needs.
- Conduct software demos and presentations to customers to showcase product features.
- Ensure the development team follows best practices for software engineering, including coding standards, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software design specifications and project plans.
- Respond to requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposals (RFP).
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic proposals, RFPs and create an excellent customer experience.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the selection and implementation process.
- Partner with Product Management to plan and prioritize product roadmap and ensure continuous improvement of product features.
- Participate in trade shows and other marketing events to promote products and generate leads.
- Keep up-to-date with product updates and market trends.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering to inform project decisions and guide the development team
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Prepare and deliver technical training to sales staff and customers.
- Provide post-sale support to customers, working closely with the customer support team.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in pre-sales, technical support or solutions engineering within a software company.
- At least four years of experience in a software development.
- Strong technical skills, with experience in software development using modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams of technical and non-technical professionals
- Strong technical background with experience in the following: Product Management, Software engineering and Technical Sales.
- Proven track record of leading pre-sales teams and driving revenue growth.
