**JOB PURPOSE**
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

As the Manager ECMP, the Job Holder is responsible to the Head of RSAF Engineering Authority Support Team for providing effective management of the RSAF Engineering Change Management Process (ECMP) on behalf of the RSAF. The aim being to identify, establish, develop and deploy innovative engineering ideas/opportunities that increases aircraft availability/reliability and also reduces cost whilst either raising or maintaining safety standards within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia (BAES SA) managed platforms.

The jobholder will be in constant daily contact with the RSAF at a senior level within the Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering (DoAE) and other RSAF Directorates. They will provide advice and support to the RSAF in developing and exercising their Engineering Authority capability to recognised standards. The jobholder should be flexible, adaptable and be able to support all bases in Kingdom, RSAF HQ and any location within or out of the kingdom as requested/directed by the RSAF Director of Aeronautical Engineering or his nominated section manager.

**RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION**
- Provide guidance and advice for ECMP proposals to the RSAF & BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.
- Develop tools and techniques to identify aircraft system related problems which impact upon fleet performance and availability.
- Investigate aircraft system related problems and develop innovative ECMP solutions and recommendations.
- Assist the RSAF to develop or enhance existing maintenance policies and practices in order to reduce overall maintenance costs and increase aircraft availability.
- Liaise with MoDSAP and other BAE Systems agencies to identify solutions implemented by other platform operators and review their applicability to the RSAF.
- Coordinate and progress appropriate approval of ECMP initiatives through the relevant Design Organisations.
- Ensure ECMP project compliance with the regulatory requirements in force for Continuing Airworthiness activities undertaken by BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.
- Assist the RSAF in developing either Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) or Local Job Guides (LJG) to capture any approved modifications or process changes that are issued under the ECMP.
- Effectively manage all ECMP projects to ensure full traceability and configuration management is maintained.
- Produce presentational material, deliver and administer ECMP project review meetings.
- Provide technical support for Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Wing and Squadrons including the Aeronautical Engineering Squadron (AES).
- Review Statement of Work (SOW) where necessary.
- Support and assist in evaluating and providing recommendations on Material Deficiency Reports (MDRs) and Defect Investigation Final Reports (DIFRs) to resolve aircraft/engines problems.
- Maintain an awareness of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Engineering best practice and sharing this with the RSAF Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering.
- Maintain and develop working relationships with other RSAF Directorates, BAE Systems Saudi Arabia deployed engineering resource at RSAF Bases, Platform project teams, MODSAP and functional/networking links to BAE Systems Business Units.
- Provide RSAF Officers/Personnel with training both informal and in a formal classroom situation
