Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Cost Manager **to join our team In this role you will be responsible for exercising a qualified level of cost management including cost planning, controlling and reporting proficiency.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports to accurately reflect current budgets, invoices and committed costs; projected-to-go or cost-to-complete estimates; budget variances; cash flow projections; and schedule of values for individual projects.
- Provide trending information to assist in forecasting potential problems with cost and time.
- Manage work breakdown structures and revisions.
- Coordinate conceptual estimates for various design and construction estimates to provide program budgets.
- Development and maintenance of automated program cost database.
- Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations.
- Provide, annually, a fiscal budget and past period cost performance report.
- Provide, monthly, a consolidated program cost performance report.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 15 years related experience and/ or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven construction experience in estimating, bidding and job cost preparation; and an understanding of construction contracts, scheduling and general construction management principles is required.
- Construction experience in change order review / negotiations process preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
