**Job Purpose**:
The Manager, Maintenance Mechanical, is responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities and mechanical systems within an organization. This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring the availability of equipment, and optimizing maintenance processes. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage maintenance budgets, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead and manage the maintenance mechanical team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure effective performance and achievement of maintenance goals.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and extend asset life.
- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance activities, including inspections, servicing, and calibration of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Oversee the planning and execution of corrective maintenance activities to address equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to ensure the availability of spare parts, materials, and resources for maintenance activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Implement and utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, generate reports, and analyze equipment performance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services and materials.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and evaluate maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes, techniques, and practices to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in maintenance activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs for the maintenance mechanical team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in maintenance management and mechanical systems. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the maintenance mechanical team.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

**Minimum Experience**:
Min 10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a mechanical or industrial setting.
