**DUTIES **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES**

Study tender documents, Instrumentation design basis, Project specifications, International codes (ASME, ASTM, API, IEC, ISA, ISO, NACE, ATEX & NEMA) and standards (Shell DEP, ARAMCO, etc.,).

Prepare/check Instrumentation drawings/documents as advised or as per hand drawn sketches;
Ensure the drawings/documents shall be checked as per check list and latest vendor drawings.

Issue drawings/documents to IDC as per project IDC matrix & incorporate all IDC comments before issuing clients

Prepare overall control system architecture, cable blocks diagram & Instrumentation Bulk MTO.

Prepare Instrumentation control room layout, Instrument and F&G location layout, Instrument and F&G cable trench/tray routing layout & Level sketches.

Prepare Instrument and F&G cable schedule, JB schedule, MCT Layouts, Interconnection Wiring diagrams and Loop diagrams.

Prepare typical Instrument installation drawings and Instrument Hook-up drawings.

Produce 3D model (SP3D, PDS, PDMS) for all Instrumentation works (as per project 3D modelling procedure).

Clash check to be done before model review (30%, 60% & 90% as per project 3D modelling procedure).

Extract 2D drawings from 3D model for all Instrumentation works.

Assist Engineers in Overall MTO, Instrument index, I/O list, datasheets and other required documents.

Assist Engineers in Instrumentation Bulk item vendor offer evaluation, review & provide comments (Example., Cables, cable gland, cable tray, MCT, etc.,)

Visit Site for data collection and survey of existing instrumentation system (DCS, ESD and F&G), cable routing and interface.

Prepare As-built drawings as per site condition.

Review and comment on other discipline (received as IDC) drawings. All inputs relevant to other disciplines (e.g. Electrical-earthing requirements, Civil-Instrument foundation requirements, etc.,) shall be given on required stage/time.

Follow and comply all QHSE requirements/procedures in drawings/documents.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

Minimum 2 years diploma in Electrical & Instrument Engineering from a recognized institute;
Minimum 8 years work experience of drawing preparation work in the oil and gas / infra-structure / building or power plant industries;
Experience in using AutoCAD and Micro station;
Experience of engineering work in FEED/EPC projects

**PHYSICAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**

Must be in good health, physically fit & active;
Must have good analytical skills, interpersonal skills and team-working skills;
Must have excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD, Micro-station and other design/engineering software);
Must have the ability to maintain high drafting standard and should have experience in working with Attribute, XRef System, view port creating method in AUTOCAD;
Must have thorough understanding of specific Engineering discipline;
Thorough knowledge of interdisciplinary interfaces;
Must have positive attitude, very dynamic, highly motivated and hardworking;
Must be flexible and have ability to work under pressure to meet the demands of projects.
