**2. Job Purpose**

To develop, tune and maintain Amiral’s long term strategy and related policies and measures to ensure business alignment, sustainability and compliance to the desired framework. Manages exceptions as required.

**4. Main Tasks & Accountabilities**
- Manages, oversees and directs the Strategy Team.
- Delegates financial authority at the levels assigned.
- Strategy and Innovation This function will primarily be tasked with the following:

- Planning and implementation of corporate strategic activities
- Strategic initiative management
- Driving innovation across organization Sustainability Sustainability will be required to assess the environment and social impact of projects and expansions
- Develops and maintains Amiral’s strategic blueprint/framework.
- Demonstrates a flexible and innovative approach to support the vision of Amiral. Establishes ways to maintain progress by overcoming barriers as they arise, driving innovation.
- Drives the development of long-term business and organizational strategy.
- Seeks to build a sustainable competitive advantage
- Develops achievable goals and implement processes that improve organizational effectiveness
- Recommends measures that realize Amiral’s business objectives.
- Align departmental goals, processes and resource allocation within the Amiral strategic framework..
- Provides strategic guidance to senior management throughout the annual business cycle
- Assessing market trends and competitors.
- Identifies business threats and opportunities.
- Assesses overall performance and contributions to effectiveness
- Provides guidance to senior management throughout the annual business cycle
- Reviews, approves, compiles and archives regulatory policy and strategy documents.
- Stays abreast of international legislation, guidelines and practices in Saudi Arabia and the GCC and the meat processing/breeding industry worldwide
- Establishes ways to maintain corporate strategic progress by overcoming barriers as they arise.
- Advises Heads of units on progress against business plans
- Monitors and review ongoing projects within the framework of sustainability and HSE polices
- Plan, schedule and direct regulatory activities and programs reflated to HSE and Sustainability
- Liaises with, and make presentations to external regulatory authorities, governments, interested parties.
- Acts as the liaison point with regulatory agencies to request information and resolve any issues regarding specific actions.
- Provides Board presentations on findings, projections and recommended actions.

7. Background Knowledge & Experience.

7.1 Education Level - Minimum

Preferred
- A degree in business or related field.
- MBA preferred

7.2 Professional Qualifications/
Mandatory Licences
- A Planning Certification would be an advantage

7.3 Work Experience
- At least 10 years in business planning and strategic alignment with at least 5 years in managing business operations is required.
- Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership skills.
