Job Description: As the Urban Planning Director, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing and managing urban planning projects. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and collaboration with clients to shape the future of urban development. You will lead a team of urban planners, designers, and consultants in executing projects that contribute to sustainable and vibrant urban landscapes. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive urban planning strategies that align with the client's objectives, local regulations, and industry best practices. - Project Management: Lead and manage complex urban planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. - Client Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals, and providing effective solutions that meet their expectations. - Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of urban planners, designers, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all urban planning projects adhere to local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant guidelines. - Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with local communities, public agencies, and other stakeholders to gather input, build consensus, and create inclusive urban development plans. - Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven approaches and analytical tools to inform decision-making and support the design and implementation of urban planning projects. - Sustainability: Promote sustainable and resilient urban development practices, incorporating green infrastructure, energy efficiency, and environmental conservation into projects. - Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality and excellence in urban planning, design, and project delivery. - Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and provide regular financial reports to the management team.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 20 years of experience in urban planning and project management, preferably in an engineering consultancy environment or PMC/PMO. - Professional certification or licensure in urban planning or related field (e.g., AICP, PE) is a plus. - Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and land-use policies. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in urban planning software and tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
