**Job Summary**:
The Engineer, Loss Prevention, is responsible for identifying, assessing, and implementing measures to prevent or mitigate potential risks and losses within an organization. This role involves analyzing processes, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety programs. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise to enhance safety practices and minimize loss events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities in processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention strategies, including the design and evaluation of safety systems, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that safety considerations are incorporated into the design and modification of processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and corporate objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on safety-related issues to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes, develop corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and workshops to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of loss prevention programs and initiatives, implementing continuous improvement measures as necessary.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to loss prevention and safety. Collaborate with regulatory agencies, insurance providers, and internal auditors during inspections and audits related to loss prevention.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Min 2 years of experience in loss prevention, process safety, or a related field, preferably in a process industry or manufacturing environment.
