**Job Summary**:
The General Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of mega residential projects for the National Housing Company across the kingdom. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of engineering principles and financial acumen to drive project success, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and meet the highest quality benchmarks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve project objectives, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
- **Project Management**: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mega residential projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Engineering Oversight**: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring that all projects adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- **Financial Management**: Develop and manage project budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure financial controls are in place to maximize profitability and cost efficiency.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery and company operations.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all projects comply with local, regional, and national regulations, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, providing insights into project progress, financial performance, and any issues or risks.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction or contracting industry, with a focus on large-scale residential projects.
- Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in project management and construction processes.
- Solid financial acumen, with experience in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering mega projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of local and national construction regulations and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
