The Role
My client is a leading international contractor who have an excellent reputation and a track record of working on major projects all over the world. They are currently working on two mega projects in Saudi Arabia and are looking to recruit an experienced planning manager. The role will involve the following;
- Responsible for leading the Planning discipline & Planning Team. - Develop and manage the implementation of a Planning and Scheduling Procedure that satisfies the Client requirements. - Develop and manage the Master Works Programme to meet project objectives and Client requirements - Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure. - Manage the agreed allocation of Budget Costs and Major Resources to the Master Works Programme - Meet and communicate with Joint Venture planning and delivery teams to ensure programme integration. - Establish an agreed set of Programme Milestones and monitor and manage their status during the course of the works. - Meet and communicate with Joint Venture planning and delivery teams to assist in the resolution of programme delivery conflicts and development of schedule opportunities. - Ensure the timely and accurate monitoring and reporting of progress in the Master Works Programme. - Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly Earned Value Analysis reports. - Assist in the identification and management of project schedule risks and propose mitigation actions.
