**Parsons is seeking an experienced Planning Manager**to lead the planning and scheduling activities for a large-scale infrastructure construction supervision project. This role will be crucial in ensuring that all phases of the project, including roads, tunnels, bridges, and utilities, are delivered on time and within budget. The Planning Manager will oversee the development of detailed schedules, resource allocation, and progress tracking while collaborating with the project team, contractors, and stakeholders to meet all project objectives.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Lead the planning and scheduling efforts for the infrastructure construction project, ensuring all activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, including baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and milestones.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any delays or potential risks to the schedule and proposing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution of activities.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts of project completion timelines and key milestones.
- Analyze schedule performance, identify bottlenecks or critical path issues, and implement corrective measures to keep the project on track.
- Generate regular progress reports, including resource utilization, milestones achieved, and any schedule deviations.
- Ensure proper resource allocation, optimizing the use of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project goals.
- Work closely with the procurement, engineering, and construction teams to align activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Implement best practices in scheduling and project controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Provide strategic support and input for decision-making processes related to scheduling and project timelines.
**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure construction projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management, and schedule optimization techniques.
- Ability to interpret complex data and produce clear, actionable reports for project stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in **English**(both written and verbal); proficiency in **Arabic**is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project conditions and resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.
**What Desired Skills You’ll Bring**:
- Previous experience in managing planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in roads, tunnels, bridges, and utilities in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, standards, and practices.
