Jacobs is supporting a government organisation to help modernize and develop its communications network and part of this strategy is the implementation & upgrade of the Nationwide Fibre Network. This includes the design, installation supervision & commissioning of fibre optic projects across multiple locations (Central, East, and West) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Cost Controller supports the financial analysis and reporting of the IP Network Delivery Stage 3 Plus project using earned value analysis and associated management methods.

The Cost Controller will report to the Authority Financial Controller and provide support in the analysis and validation of work completed by the supply chain and assist in the payment process. They will need to work collaboratively with the Authority and the Regional Contract Administrators to ensure delivery of the requirements are undertaken in accordance with the agreed Programme. To assist the Authority reviewing performance, the Cost Controller will develop monthly financial reports, monitoring spends against the budgeted profile of works.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
Key responsibilities & experience
- Validation of Earned Value Analysis (EVA) reports to agree a value of works achieved per month.
- Supporting the review of the projects progress measurement forecasting costs and projected date of completion.
- Maintain a tracker for budgeting, payments, and forecasting of project costs. This will include an explanation of any variances from previous projections.
- Control project expenses and revenue to ensure conformity with the project cash flow and budget.
- Estimate project payables within the forecast.
- Track financial progress against each project and provide a monthly status report to the Financial Controller.
- Prepare financial reports as required.
- Assist with project invoicing process in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure 004
- Control the preparation of accounting and financial reports
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuously improving processes and reports.

Qualifications
- Degree Educated
- Fully acquainted with the establishment’s Health & Safety and Environmental Protection Regulations and procedures
- The post holder is required to comply with all MoD and ISS policy governing propriety and regularity as laid down in the MoD Personnel Manuals, DINs, JSPs and other relevant reference manuals.
