**Overview of the role**:
**What you will do**:

- Supervise a team of technicians, electricians, and helpers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Allocate jobs efficiently across bays and personnel to reduce vehicle downtime and improve workshop productivity.
- Monitor and maintain high repair quality and first-time fix rates.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, 5S principles, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Use SAP and other digital tools for job card management, reporting, and workflow optimization.
- Liaise with suppliers, body builders, and service managers for technical support and escalations.
- Track workshop efficiency, team attendance, tool/equipment condition, and cleanliness through audits and reports.

**Required skills to be successful**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in a commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) workshop.
- Strong knowledge in diesel engine systems, driveline, electrical, air-conditioning, and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, technical report writing, and warranty compliance.
- Experience in managing workflow, team performance, and value-added repair services.
- Understanding of health and safety standards and commitment to continuous improvement

**About the team**:
You will lead a high-performing aftersales workshop team made up of skilled technicians and electricians. This role reports directly to the Service Manager and works collaboratively across the aftersales department to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in all service activities
