**Role Overview**:
The Business Analysis Lead is responsible for overseeing the business analysis processes within the organization. This includes identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and ensure successful project execution. The lead will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring that the business requirements are effectively captured, analyzed, and communicated.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Leadership and Management**:

- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, providing guidance on best practices and methodologies.
- Oversee the business analysis activities to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team.

2. **Requirements Gathering and Analysis**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and objectives.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.

3. **Project Management Support**:

- Work with project managers to align business analysis activities with project timelines.
- Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

4. **Process Improvement**:

- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that changes are well-documented and communicated to all relevant parties.

5. **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather and validate requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and the IT department.

6. **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all business analysis deliverables meet quality standards.
- Review and approve business cases, requirements documents, and other project artifacts.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure that solutions meet business needs.

**Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

**Professional Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading business analysis for complex projects in various industries.
- Experience with project management and business process improvement.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- High level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.

**Certifications**:

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is a plus.
