- The Peri.Anesthesia Registered Nurse (RN) works in Dhahran. Provides a wide range of direct quality and evidence.based professional nursing care to patients guided by organizational and departmental policies and procedures and approved electronic competency evaluation system used in JHAH to improve the well.being of all patients. - Ensures relevant education and instructions are completed before discharge
- Discharges the patient to the care of the escort to ensure the patients safetyPACU
- Receive preoperative patients in the holding area utilizing the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses ASPAN and JHAH standards and policies
- Monitors patients in the PACU utilizing the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses ASPAN and JHAH standards and policies
- Ensures all documentation is completed promptly and in the relevant format
- Administers medications utilizing JHAH standards and policies and as per clinicians orders
- Receive and recover post anesthesia Electroconvulsive therapy ECT procedures for anesthesia servicePATC
- The clearance nurse will conduct the preoperative call utilizing the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses ASPAN and JHAH standards and policies
- Conduct anesthesia screening calls utilizing JHAH standards and policies and schedule pateint appointments for the anesthesia clinic
- Assess patients in the clinic and communicate with the clearance nurse on referral to other services for clearance
