You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and that timelines align with the company's overall objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop comprehensive project schedules that outline key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements for various projects.
- Analyze and evaluate project schedules for accuracy and feasibility while identifying critical paths and potential delays.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and teams to ensure proper alignment and integration of scheduling efforts.
- Monitor project progress in real-time, updating schedules as necessary to reflect changes in scope, resources, or timelines.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide reports to senior management highlighting performance metrics and recovery plans when needed.
- Identify scheduling issues and proactively recommend solutions to mitigate risks and drive project efficiency.
- Foster a culture of proactive communication and collaboration among all project team members.
- Continuously assess and implement best practices in scheduling, utilizing software tools and methodologies to optimize processes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in scheduling or project management, preferably within the construction or real estate sector.
- Proven track record of developing and managing complex project schedules.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and project management principles.
- Experience in managing and mentoring scheduling teams is a plus.
