Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Translator **to join our team In this role you will get to providing translation services and support to the Department including (but not limited to) translating reports, documents and correspondences..

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Translates the given documents and reports including internal and external correspondences, official letters, submittals, procedures, circulars, desk note instructions, bidder’s proposal documents and contractual amendments from Arabic to English and vice-versa.
- Ensure that the translation content provided coveys original meaning and tones and ensure the quality of translated material submitted.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuality accuracy.
- Develops and maintains the archiving system for each translated item and provides summaries, (weekly or monthly) translation reports, as required.
- Follow up with Manager, Section Managers and client and engineering department staff members to ensure translation meets their needs, requirement and standards.
- Keep all copies and necessary documents in files as well as in an electronic drive.
- Provide translated documents back to the requestor in a timely manner.
- Edit content to maintain its original format i.e. (font and structure.
- Perform any other related duties/ tasks as assigned

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline but preferably in English literature.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Should have a professional course of English translation from Arabic and vice-versa.
- Must be fluent in English writing, reading and speaking.
- Must have good writing skills, typing and attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Must also be computer literate and proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) for word processing.
