**Job Purpose**:
Although not comprehensive, the following responsibilities are anticipated by the Senior Knowledge Management and Training Manager (SKM&TM). The SKM&TM is anticipated to be passionate about adult learning, highly collaborative, accepting of all aspects of program and project management, and knowledgeable about the subtleties of how learning can influence operational success.
To support NEOM THE LINE (NTL) in managing and sustaining the knowledge base tools, processes, and systems, the incumbent is required to be an experienced and dependable knowledge management and training manager for growth, strategy, and transformation. The SKM&TM will collaborate with the Senior Lessons Learned Manager and Knowledge Management Training Manager in order to help the Head of Knowledge Management in ensuring the effective and efficient dissemination of NTL-related knowledge throughout the program. This position reports to the Head of Knowledge Management at NTL (HKM).
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Knowledge Management Strategy and Framework**:
- Support the Knowledge Management head (KMH) in reviewing the program's KM vision, mission, and policy statements and demonstrate those cultural values as an SME.
- Support the KMH review of the KM function organizational structure, RACI matrix, and KPIs, classifying the NTL program’s KM risks and creating NTL departments' mandatory training matrix.
- Work with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to secure KMH approval and ongoing evaluation of Delivery Partners’ KM material (e.g., KM Manual, Plans, Processes & Guidance, Templates, Policies, and Procedures,etc.).
- Assist Quality Management Systems (QMS) departments heads in ensuring appropriate training and awareness are provided.
- Ensure KM system implementation and grant access to KM systems for relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the KMH in the design and deployment (internal and external) of the program's KM strategy, procedures, and plans to ensure KM ethos is incorporated and IMS compliance is maintained.
- Support the rewards and recognition system to promote a culture of KM.
- Bring management failures or potential KM violations to the attention of the KMH and ensure quick resolution of raised recommendations, complaints, or issues by assigned parties.
- Ensures that the KM program is aligned with NTL's strategy and meets its needs and transformation goals (e.g., Culture of Sharing, curiosity, learning, etc.).
- Vetting and editing new blog posts to ensure that the content is relevant, the language is appropriate, and the posts add value to the NTL community.
- Organizing in-person and/or virtual knowledge-sharing events, as determined in close consultation with KMH, and rewriting event descriptions accessible through the NTL portal.
- Develop monthly KM newsletters featuring the latest KM content, announcements, and events.
- Regularly scanning previous blog posts to ensure that outdated posts that are over 5 years old have been properly archived.
- Filter and tag blog articles, tools, best practices, and other resources, and maintain the correct keywords and search terms for all relevant information so that search functions return the most pertinent results.
- Attending KMH requested management calls to update them on project activities, difficulties, mitigation strategies, and any queries.
- Perform other tasks that may come up in consultation with KMH.
**Knowledge Management Approach**:
- Support the KM team, and ensure all KM plans are updated based on a continual improvement process and lessons learned.
- Ensure addressing feedback from the KM team, QMS other departments, and NTL organizations.
- Support KMH to ensure that pertinent training and KM processes and activities are implemented and managed.
- Support the DP innovation strategy and ensure it is in alignment with the KM strategy.
**Knowledge Management Administration**:
- Assist the KMH in preparing the management review presentation, reports, and other supplemental materials.
- Manage daily administration of role-related workflows and schedules.
- Maintain documents pertinent to the position in accordance with QA guidelines.
- Participate in required KM function team meetings and provide constructive input.
- Participate in and make a positive contribution to required external coordination meetings if required by the KMH.
- Support the mentorship strategy within the KM function.
- Obtain KMH's approval to share opportunities and information regarding KM-related lessons learned with the program employees.
**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of successful leadership, preferably with large-scale projects.
- Minimum of five years of relevant expertise in knowledge management, organizational learning and/or strategic learning.
- Demonstrable experience online and offline, leading learning activities, facilitation, and training exercises.
