Peaks is a high-end specialty coffee operator with 4 locations in Riyadh and 3 more opening this year. With ambitions to expand internationally and gain recognition as one of the world's best specialty coffee operators, Peaks seeks a dedicated individual to ensure consistent coffee quality across all locations.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Standards

  • ● Monitor and ensure consistency and quality of all coffee beverages across outlets
  • ● Conduct regular quality assessments, cupping sessions, and taste evaluations
  • ● Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists
  • ● Document quality issues and recommend corrective measures

2. Product Consistency Monitoring

  • ● Perform regular location visits to assess beverage preparation and presentation standards
  • ● Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal brewing conditions
  • ● Monitor inventory quality, including bean freshness and storage conditions

3. Quality Training & Support

  • ● Provide targeted training on quality standards and brewing techniques
  • ● Conduct workshops and tasting sessions to enhance staff understanding of quality benchmarks

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • ● Maintain regular check-ins with Head of Coffee to report findings and progress
  • ● Seek feedback and support on quality challenges and improvement initiatives
  • ● Collaborate on quality standards development and implementation

Qualifications:

  • ● 2-3 years experience in coffee quality control or senior barista role in specialty coffee environments
  • ● Strong expertise in coffee cupping, brewing techniques, and quality assessment
  • ● Proven experience in quality control processes and documentation
  • ● Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • ● Strong communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
  • ● Knowledge of coffee equipment calibration and maintenance
