Job Overview:

Our client, a leading ultra-luxury events and banqueting company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an accomplished
Assistant Sales Director
to drive their high-end sales division. This pivotal role demands an experienced leader with a strong background in luxury events, banqueting, or high-profile catering. The ideal candidate will accelerate revenue growth, ensure flawless client experiences, and manage a proactive, reactive, and administrative sales team of 10 while overseeing ultra-premium event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a sales team covering proactive, reactive, and administrative functions.
  • Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) to track leads, optimize pipelines, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving personal and team booking targets and setting a leadership example.
  • Recommend and monitor sales targets while supporting team performance and professional development.
  • Conduct alignment meetings between sales and operations to ensure flawless conversion of business opportunities.
  • Lead client calls and meetings to secure new business and close strategic, high-value deals.
  • Manage proposals, customer correspondence, complaints, and reporting in a timely manner.
  • Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Review client feedback and implement service improvements to maintain ultra-luxury standards.
  • Guide the team to deliver exceptional, client-focused service at every touchpoint.
  • Represent the brand at key events, networking functions, and high-profile client engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive business growth.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of sales team members through structured training and coaching programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must have experience in both European and Middle East markets.
  • Extensive experience in ultra-luxury events, banqueting, or high-profile catering sales.
  • Proven expertise in team leadership and performance management.
  • Prior experience handling high-value, high-volume events or catering operations.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of ultra-luxury client expectations and hospitality standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker capable of executing under pressure.
