Quantity Surveyor – Roads & Infrastructure
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with solid expertise in road and infrastructure projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-off, contract administration, and payment certification for various civil projects, with a primary focus on highways, local roads, and related infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for road works (earthworks, pavement, asphalt, drainage, utilities).
- Review and verify contractors' interim payment applications and variations.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost reports.
- Monitor project costs and provide cost control support during construction.
- Evaluate claims, variations, and contractual matters in accordance with FIDIC and project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, and site teams to ensure accuracy of quantities and cost data.
- Prepare final accounts and close-out reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in quantity surveying, including at least 3 years in road/highway projects.
- Strong knowledge of road construction materials, specifications, and methods.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and KSA authority standards (MOMRA, MOT, NHC).
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (CANDY, CostX, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking); Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
- Transferable Iqama.
- Availability: Immediately.
