Job Overview
Our Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Greenhouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our agricultural facilities in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our greenhouse production, with a focus on high-quality fruits, vegetables, and palms. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and expert horticultural knowledge to drive productivity and ensure the health and vitality of our crops. Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and manage a team of greenhouse staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Oversee the complete cultivation cycle for a variety of crops, including fruits, vegetables, and palms, from planting and propagation to harvesting.
  • Monitor and control the greenhouse environment, including temperature, humidity, and irrigation systems, to ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Implement and manage integrated pest and disease management programmes.
  • Manage the inventory of essential supplies such as seeds, fertilisers, and growing media.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of crop production, staff performance, and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with farm management to develop and execute production plans that meet quality and yield targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a commercial greenhouse, farm, or large-scale agricultural environment.
  • In-depth horticultural knowledge, with specific experience in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and palms.
  • A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining modern greenhouse technologies and climate control systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
