Job Description: Laundry Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Laundry Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our self-service laundromat and dry-cleaning facility. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service, maintain high cleanliness standards, manage staff, and drive profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee all store activities, including equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies (detergents, bags, etc.), and vendor coordination for repairs or restocking.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers, resolve complaints promptly, and promote loyalty programs or additional services (e.g., drop-off laundry, alterations).
  • Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise a team of 4–8 attendants; conduct performance reviews and foster a positive work culture.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, pricing strategies, and expense control to meet revenue targets and minimize shrinkage.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure machines are clean and functional; coordinate preventative maintenance and emergency repairs with technicians.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce sanitation protocols, safety procedures, and local regulations (e.g., fire codes, chemical handling).
  • Marketing & Growth: Implement promotions, manage social media/local advertising, and analyze customer feedback to increase foot traffic and upsell services.
