The
Procurement Quality & Vendor Control Officer
is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers, materials, and services meet the company's quality and compliance standards. The role ensures consistency, reliability, and adherence to specifications throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and approve suppliers and materials according to technical and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure compliance at all stages of material sourcing.
  • Prepare vendor evaluation reports and monitor supplier performance metrics.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and supplier visits to verify quality and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical approvals and quality documentation records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in vendor qualification, material approval, or procurement quality control.
  • Sound understanding of ISO, SASO, and related quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supplier performance tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and follow-up skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
