Job Purpose:
Supervise the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at SIO's industrial and office buildings to ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, enhance productivity, and maintain a safe working environment in line with international electrical standards and SIO's guidelines.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance activities for equipment and systems at water stations SIO's industrial and office buildings to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
- Manage electrical maintenance requests, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure the availability of required tools and spare parts from warehouses.
- Coordinate with the Technical Solutions Department, Inventory Control, and Procurement to ensure smooth maintenance operations and the timely availability of spare parts.
- Inspect, test, and operate electrical equipment at SIO's industrial and office buildings to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to the approved maintenance policies and manuals set by the Technical Solutions Department.
- Monitor planned maintenance activities through the SAP system and review them to ensure effective implementation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during electrical work and adhere to the policies and procedures of the General Organization for Irrigation (SIO).
- Maintain effective relationships with electrical service providers, analyze their performance, and report to stakeholders.
- Ensure service providers comply with service level agreements and participate in preparing and renewing contracts in coordination with relevant units.
- Prepare reports on spare parts consumption and ensure their availability to meet maintenance needs.
- Prepare periodic reports on electrical maintenance activities, share them with concerned parties, and review contractors' maintenance reports when applicable.
- Identify and manage risks related to the electrical unit in line with the approved risk management methodology and standards.
- Determine workforce needs to achieve the unit's objectives.
- Evaluate employee performance, follow up on individual goals, and participate in identifying training and development needs to boost productivity and enhance performance.
- Promote a collaborative and positive work environment among team members.
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably holds a professional maintenance certification from a recognized international association (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional - CMRP).
Years of Experience:
- 4–7 years of experience in similar roles within local, regional, or international organizations.
- Previous experience using SAP for maintenance applications.
- Preferably has experience in the public sector within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
