Data Consulting Director Role:

  • As a Consulting Director, you will lead strategic data and AI transformation programs for high-impact clients across government and public sector institutions, as well as the telecom, financial services, retail, and energy industries.
  • You will be responsible for driving client success, managing large-scale engagements, developing our regional footprint, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver business value through the intelligent use of data and AI.

Data Consulting Director Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Data & AI strategy engagements, from opportunity sizing to roadmap design and value realisation.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with Ministers, CXOs, and senior government leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on digital and AI transformation.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs across data governance, cloud platforms, AI/ML industrialisation, and GenAI adoption.
  • Manage large, cross-functional teams (consultants, data scientists, data engineers, media experts, and creatives) to ensure impactful delivery.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the public and private sectors in KSA and Qatar.
  • Lead commercial proposal development, client pitches, and contract negotiations.
  • Support Artefact's regional growth through thought leadership, events, and executive networking.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop consulting talent across the Middle East, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Data Consulting Director Required Experience:

  • Native Arabic speaker (mandatory).
  • 7–8 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, Kearney).
  • Experience with the public sector is a must, ideally within government transformation, national digital or data programs.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale data, AI, or digital transformation engagements in the Middle East.
  • Strong understanding of GCC industries, particularly government, telecom, financial services, and retail.
