Essential Job Functions
- Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth through the effective deployment of sales resources for specified customers in across different industries.
- Achieve objectives established in the Company's Strategic Plan
- Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan (with originators on team) to approach and secure new business for the Company.
- Ability to inspire others to share company vision and support them to reach company/individual goals.
- Manage, update, and maintain the global pricing database.
- Facilitate the completion of Global Air and Ocean RFQ's
- Manage, update, and maintain the Global Marketing database.
- Support all Global Sales Team members with pricing inquiries.
- Provide marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members.
- Manage, update, and maintain the Corporate Sales and Marketing SharePoint site.
- Facilitate and support the corporate branding initiatives globally.
- Promote CWW products to the clients.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline that match with CWW expectation.
Work Experience
- 5 7 years of transportation and /or logistics sales experience required
- 35 years of Pricing Management desired
- Minimum 5 years of Global Airfreight and Ocean Freight Pricing experience required
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems for opportunity assessment and sales pipeline management.
- 35 years statistical analysis experience
Other Skills & Abilities
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Mastery of Microsoft Word
- Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
