THE ROLE


The Head of Trade Marketing main objective is to create and accelerate demand for the assigned Luxury Fragrance Brands across the different channels and points of sale.

You will be responsible for several markets in LEVANT region with a combination on fragrances brands to grow.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:
Market Mapping
Identify what is the real market size and the potential for sustainable growth.

Consumers insights and clear segmentation:
who are our existing clients and how can we recruit new ones.
Better understanding of the various channels and the dynamics of each channel.
Analyze the Competition, their strategy and the winning formulas.
Identify what is the optimal go to market strategy on how to win in different channels.
Recommend brand/ assortment mix, distribution, pricing strategy and investment priorities. As well as recommending promos to complete the Go to Market Strategy on the 4P's.

Accelerate sell out
Will be consistently looking for gaps and opportunities to grow the business.
Design and implement different offers to drive sell out while staying line with the brands' guidelines.
Own trade plans in collaboration with the commercial teams and aiming for profitable growth while improving market share.
Will always challenge the proposed trade plans by our distributors aiming at optimizing our Trade Spend ROI.
Ensure that our BTL placements are well synced with our ATL campaigns for maximum output.
Full ownership of the perfect store program including capex investments, merchandising plans, better visibility and assortment rationalization.
Analysis & reporting

Analyze sell out data and present to the commercial team on monthly basis what are the major findings and the recommended actions going forward.

Present close out reports for new launches, activations and promotions.
Share a quarterly recap on trade plans ROI highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports requested by regional trade or brand marketing teams.
Budgets & controls
Set and manage A&CP actuals vs budgets on a monthly basis, monitor Trade Spend budget.
Lead capex projects and the weekly merchandising meetings.
Owns the forecasting process in collaboration with the commercial and supply chain teams on novelties

Ensure to travel as required to the markets to stay always updated on the distribution dynamics - expectation is to visit 2 markets each month.

Make sure with the finance team that all prices either for base or for innovation to be always well maintained in the system
Lead the organization of events involving distributors and retailers of export markets.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
A passion for beauty, cosmetic and luxury brands
At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing or sales roles involving working with distributors in Luxury or FMCG sector
Extensive experience in the Middle East region and experience in working with distribution partners
Proven track record of managing brand strategy implementation, budget and planning with hand on approach

Willingness to travel as required to the markets to stay always updated on the distribution dynamics - expectation is to travel at least 50% of time.
