Channel Rooms Solutions Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Channel Rooms Solutions Business Development Manager to be a part of our team and lead a significant change in the reseller channel. Our goal is to empower partners to deliver a unified rooms solutions experience to their clients.

  • The ideal candidate should possess robust sales and business management expertise in AV technologies, services, and contractual matters. This individual will operate within a global setup but will have responsibilities for a group of partners in various countries. The role involves meeting and exceeding sales targets, executing centrally devised initiatives to boost local channel business using global tools, assessing market conditions and obstacles, and streamlining local requirements and support. Additionally, responsibilities include establishing proper business governance with partners, managing existing channel activities, and recruiting new partners. The role covers Rooms Solutions portfolio USB/Single Codec devices & services under the Video segment. It is a great opportunity for those interested in being part of the emerging HP business sector and steering its progress and evolution. The role involves enabling partners to enhance sales and delivery of HPPoly Services & Products (including valuable program tools, dashboards, and incentives).
  • Responsibilities:
    • Partner enablement: value proposition materials, training sessions
    • Partner selection, segmentation, adoption, certification
    • Deployment of services channel programs
    • Collaboration with partners on joint business plans
    • Educating PBM on channel tools, programs, and growth initiatives
    • Tracking business performance through dashboards and analysis
    • Connecting partners with technical support resources
    • Absence of involvement in end-user sales or partner account management
  • Key performance metrics:
    • Number of rooms units sold
    • Services penetration rate
    • Services mix in sales
    • Performance of growth initiatives
    • Number of partners selling services
    • Participation in channel programs
    • Partner's share of business
    • Engagement with other teams
    • Regular engagement with partners and the Market Channel Sales team
    • Providing feedback on products, pricing, value proposition, sales enablement, and growth initiatives to GCWS and GBU
    • 4P planning: developing channel incentives with Services Categories
  • Key required experience / attributes:
    • Previous experience in AV with leading manufacturers
    • Background in services sales
    • Experience in partner management
    • Balanced mix of analytical and action-oriented mindset
    • Strong communication skills at both Market and global levels
  • Complexity:
    • Addresses complex issues requiring an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
