Job Summary:


As the MD Totco DBS Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for the Supply chain activities and fleet utilization to enable service delivery and success of NOV's M/D Totco business across KSA.

The role will be responsible for coordination between project and regional deliveries and safety within KSA which will include day-to-day asset and inventory control including logistics.

Also, establishing/maintaining asset and inventory-related performance & productivity metrics and contributing to cost management processes. You will participate in the customer end-to-end service delivery: project planning, and forecasting for the Supply Chain.

You will utilize your coordination skills to improve performance to achieve business targets and increase market share in line with the overall business growth strategy by developing and implementing action plans concerning the global operations group to develop business processes and quality programs.

Crucial to this role will be your ability to drive continuous improvement processes, enhancing the team's performance and capabilities for our business to surpass internal and external customers' expectations.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform work following company procedures, processes, HSEQ standards, and best practices
  • Contribute to following best practices, controlling costs, achieving revenue targets and contributing to the business' operating profit, and increasing the value added to the company
  • Contribute to maintaining operational overall schedule by; coordinating asset and inventory activities; resolving problems.
  • From an asset and inventory perspective, collate project status reports by contributing to collecting, analyzing, and summarising information and trends, recommending actions
  • From an asset and inventory perspective, following up on customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables and ensuring customer issues are handled effectively and quickly
  • Maintain continuous focus on keeping a healthy balance of Working Capital, utilizing assets, inventory and lowering inventory stock, and maintaining min/ max definitions.
  • Contribute to Planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the asset and inventory activities of the business
  • Contribute to both shortterm and longterm goals and action plans in conjunction with the SVP of Global Operations, Regional Director MENA, and DBS Operations Manager
  • Support other disciplines with customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables and ensure customer issues are handled effectively and quickly
  • Maintain a full understanding of existing MD Totco Supply chain processes
  • Contribute to a positive working environment and continuous improvement
  • Work independently or in a team and support other team members in other tasks
  • Inter Divisional visits and intercompany travel as and when required Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by the line manager

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

  • Technical Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • 25 years' experience in a similar operational position within Oil and Gas Industry
  • Ability to execute tasks and time management
  • Dangerous Goods Management
  • Compliance knowledge within HS, ECCN
  • Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and solve problems
  • Driving license
  • Good communication skills
