Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance &Business Support, responsibilities and essential job functions includebut are not limited to the following:

Oversee day to dayoperations of Finance Department, namely credit, AR, AP (CentralizedAccounting), payroll, and general cashierDevelop anengaged, enthusiastic and service driven team of finance professionalsAssist in the talent selection process, talent managementcycle, and performance management of team membersAssist inthe preparation of financial operating statements and reports inaccordance with Corporate Policies, procedures, and regulationsAssist departments in the interpretation, orientation, trainingand analysis of revenue, payroll and expense mattersMaintain system of accounts and controls, providing accurate datanecessary for all required accounting reports and statementsActively involved in ensuring clean internal and external auditreports through compliance with all standards, policies, andproceduresPrepare and post journal entries, ensuringefficient completion of all month-end functions for review with theDirector of Finance & Business SupportMonitor, superviseand prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliation andanalysisParticipate in the creation of the AnnualOperating & Capital Budgets, Strategic Plan and Monthly OperatingForecastsCoordinate and ensure that all daily,semi-monthly and monthly management reports are issued on a timely andaccurate basisAssist in the effective utilization andintegration of hotel and financial technology systems, includingsoftware applications, current and futureAssistDepartmental Leaders with financials, systems, audit, and labormanagement toolsActively contribute to hotel overallleadership and directionOther tasks as assignedQualifications
