The Role

To assist the AzSF organization as a whole in building capacity to change and achieve greater effectiveness by developing, improving, and reinforcing strategies, structures, and processes. The role is also responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members & help deliver maximized effectiveness, potential, and capacity of both people and organization.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities

Organizational Development


• To contribute analysis and ideas to the development of HR strategy to ensure that organizational development/ change initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.


• To support the delivery of OD and change management strategies by the executive leadership; on structures, processes, and interventions that support the AzSF ambition to be a high performing organization; to include initiatives which foster a high-performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm.


• To support specific performance improvement initiatives, e.g., through the implementation of 360-degree feedback process, appraisal and Target letter setting.


• To identify opportunities for performance improvement through, for example, undertaking process/ system, policy reviews to understand barriers and possible solutions, conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.


•Create and maintain HR policies


•Maintain organizational structure, support department wise structure.


•Measuring the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction.


•Analyzing and Reporting employee trends and metrics, reporting findings to executives and senior managers.


•Support the Head of HR on HR Strategy formulation and implementation.


•Create, Develop and maintain Job Descriptions.


•Compensation and benefits i.e. increment, bonus and salary reviews and benchmarking.


•HR Group coordinator for metrics and programs.


•An HR business partner, assists the Head of HR in all areas and projects as required.

Learning & Development


• Oversee talent management and succession planning and to coordinate the contributions of key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation


• To work with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant Personal Development Plans for their staff; to commission and evaluate agreed internally delivered interventions and to ensure best use of the AzSF development budgets.


• To develop schemes to support staff development and the achievement of Personal Development Plans.


• To lead on the development of a staff skills and knowledge database to maximize the diverse talents of the organization.


•Interviewing personnel and facilitating targeted skills development initiatives.


•Designing and implementing a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and materials.

Technical / Functional Skills required


•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite


•Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.


•Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.


•Understanding of insurance industry, processes & structures.


•Know-how of local culture.


•Data Analysis


•Excellent collaboration skills


•Superb analytical and time-management skills


•Overall HR expertise

Education Required


•Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration major in HRM or Organizational Psychology


•Master Degree in Business Administration highly preferred


•SHRM Certified

Experiences required


•Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.


•More than 5 years experience as HR Generalist/ HR Business Partner or any related fields
