Summary of the job:


The main task of a
3PL lead in JNJ is to: ensure the efficient, cost-effective operation of outsourced warehousing and transportation activities in order to deliver best services and materials to JNJ patients and customer.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overview day to day operations, resolving issues, ensuring that orders are received at and shipped from the Distribution Centre in a perfect manner (on time, in full, no damages, correct documents).
  • Work with 3PL vendors, ensuring that they deliver the services as per the terms agreed (contracts, quality agreements, SLAs, SOPs):
  • Warehouse
  • Transportation
  • Coordination with 3PL warehousing provider to ensure availability of resources to ensure that sufficient space and operational capacity are available to fulfill customer orders
  • Maintain full visibility of customer orders to ensure mínimal Leadtime and ensure delivery within turnover recognition period
  • Develop and maintain robust tracking of warehousing and transportation spend, perform data analysis to spot emerging issues and develop bottomup budgets based on planned activity.
  • Managing inventory by performing inventory checks and monitor cycle count results with 3PL.
  • Ensure ontime payment of suppliers
  • Ensure monthly billing verification for warehousing and transportations from 3PL service provider.
  • Ensuring optimization of transportation rout planning across all sales channels (Tender, Normal Business, Orthokit) with 3PL.
  • Initiate improvement projects, design processes, and perform process health checks.
  • Setting up best 3PL Solution that align with business model and company strategy.
  • Analyze, and manage the performance of a suppliers and 3PL service providers to optimize costs, improve service level, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience Required

  • Education: University degree, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years managing 3PL operations or direct logistics function, need to understand warehousing and distribution concepts, language, and best practices.
  • Advantages: Experience from a multinational or regional company in MedTech environment.
  • Language: Arabic, English
  • Location: Jeddah or Riyadh
  • Relocation availability: N/A

Technical/Functional Skills Required

  • Experience working with quantitative & qualitative numbers and creating reports.
  • Ability to explain/ communicate the business situation in clear reports.
  • Experience in SAP is preferable
