Employee Relations Specialist to join our team
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsibility for Parsons's
Employee Relations Specialist for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP).
Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with other delivery partners.
QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with other partners on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to theSenior Employee Relation Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with all HR functions.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services.
- Administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.).
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
- Participating in recruitment and firing processes.
- Performing employee background checks and verifying information.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Assist with payroll and adhoc HR projects.
- Assist in adhoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback.
- Conducting exit interviews.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Create and submit reports to senior management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Saudi national Bachelor's degree in human resources or related (essential).
- 5 years of experience in a HR function.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ability to follow through clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with seniorlevel management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, coworkers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- Strong Contractor Management skills.
