Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to build connections, sell values ( innovation and sustainability) to the customers and close business opportunities by focusing on identified growth accounts in MEA.

Beyond your ability to understand quickly the respective industries and close strategic deals, Avient will provide you a full insight of the company culture and business methodologies to be successful in this opportunity.

Essential Functions

  • Develop account relationships, identify opportunities and capture service opportunities in the respective industries. Duplicate successes across all Europe.
  • Identifies new business opportunities within his/her industry/product portfolio with short / medium / long term growth objectives ( KPI around STNB)
  • Translates new opportunities into BD projects and projects to first sales following up on SFDC pipeline
  • Develop, execute and manage new product introductions.
Position the portfolio and suggest margins based on market prices knowledge towards OEM//Tier1/Tier2 in his/her responsibility

  • Close collaboration with Account Manager and train Sales people to market/portfolio specificity, standard and regulatory requirements
  • Implement /Execute growth plans and provide feedback on resource needs and emerging opportunities; recommend to Marketing changes in Avient product / service offerings by evaluating product results and competitive developments; market development activities to include performing analysis of customer plans and creating sales forecasts and account strategies.
  • Join specific associations or specific European industry network.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams, provides guidance and support Sales on specific technical topics / focus industries () to accelerate and drive profitable growth through solutions selling to targeted accounts.
  • Establish a linkage between the customer's business strategy and Avient's capabilities.
  • Manage strategic relationships, cultivate new alliances, and monitor competitive activity.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor or Master Degree. Ideally in Plastic Engineering, Chemistry or Electrical Engineering
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience
  • Experience with Thermoplastic Elastomers and Engineered Thermoplastics are preferable
  • Strong customer centric attitude, business acumen and not afraid of cold calling
  • Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills
  • Ability to Influence and communicate at all management level
  • Fluent English and Arabic
  • Ability to work and communicate in a European / Global environment
  • Sense of urgency and reactivity
  • Handson ability
