Main Tasks for Front Desk Agent:


  • Greeting Guests: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.

Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently handle the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.

Reservations Management: Manage room reservations, including processing new bookings, modifications, and cancellations.

Guest Assistance: Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Assist guests with inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.

Payment Processing: Handle payments, including room charges, deposits, and other transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, manage guest accounts, and prepare reports as needed.

Security Awareness: Ensure the security and safety of guests by following hotel protocols and reporting any suspicious activity.

Main Tasks for Front Desk Supervisor:


  • Team Supervision: Oversee and support front desk agents, ensuring high levels of customer service and efficient operations.

Training and Development: Train new front desk staff, provide ongoing training and development, and conduct performance evaluations.
-
Conflict Resolution: Handle escalated guest complaints and issues, working to resolve them promptly and effectively.

Scheduling: Prepare work schedules for front desk staff, ensuring adequate coverage during all shifts.

Quality Control: Monitor and maintain service quality standards, ensuring a consistent and excellent guest experience.

Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front desk operations, guest feedback, and occupancy rates.

Inventory Management: Manage front desk supplies, ensuring adequate stock of necessary items and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
-
Financial Responsibilities: Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.

Policy Enforcement: Ensure all front desk procedures and policies are followed and updated as needed
