Their B2B fulfilment platform empowers businesses worldwide, supporting them in developing and manufacturing chemicals from lab to commercial scale. As part of our global growth strategy, they are expanding into Italy, a key market for specialty chemicals, to strengthen the presence and better serve manufacturers in the region.

Role details:


• Title / Designation: Senior Sales Manager (General Manager) – Saudi Arabia

• Reporting Manager: BU Head

• Location: Saudi Arabia

• Work Mode: Remote

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Drive the company's market presence and spearhead its growth strategy in the Saudi Arabia market, establishing a strong foothold and unlocking new business opportunities.
  2. Take full ownership of P&L management while driving and optimizing the order book pipeline, long-term strategy, annual plans, and year-over-year growth.
  3. Ensure sustained profitability through strategic planning and execution.
  4. Prepare and maintain a list of customers in market segments and select key target accounts for sales/market actions.
  5. Key account management for increasing the business volume.
  6. Liaise with clients for their requirements, analyze their requirements, and develop order strategy.
  7. Review, discuss, correct, and put up competitive technical and commercial quotations.
  8. Communicate with suppliers to assess their capabilities, analyze their potential, and develop a sourcing strategy.
  9. Gather intelligence on competitor activity and calibrate strategy accordingly.
  10. Build company profile and brand image in the market through customer visits, presentations, exhibitions, tradeshows, and business meets.
  11. Recommend policy initiatives, new product/partnership arrangements & innovative approaches keeping in mind the market opportunities, practices & competition to strengthen company leadership position.

Candidate requirements:

  1. 8+ years of experience in business development/sales in the specialty chemicals sector.
  2. Strong expertise in P&L management, key account handling, and commercial negotiations.
  3. A deep understanding of the UK specialty chemicals market and supply chain dynamics.
  4. Proven track record in client acquisition, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
