Head of Marketing

Job Overview:
As the Head of Marketing, you will lead all marketing activations and activities, focusing primarily on movie promotions and distribution. You will collaborate closely with the operations, programming, and F&B departments to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met. Additionally, you will oversee partnerships and collaborations with third parties, manage all production processes, and maintain strict budget control.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in implementing the marketing strategy to ensure market penetration and brand awareness.
- Brainstorm, plan, and execute marketing events, premieres, and cinema openings, coordinating with various departments (Operations, Procurement, Graphics, Finance) to ensure feasibility.
- Prepare presentations and budgets for approval regarding events, public relations, and campaigns.
- Provide clear briefs to the creative team on campaign requirements.
- Communicate with cinemas, customer service, and various departments regarding campaign mechanics and execution.
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure digital content is included on websites, E-kiosks, and mobile apps.
- Ensure all marketing materials are strategically displayed within cinemas to maximize visibility.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely payments.
- Analyse the success and failures of marketing events and campaigns.
- Conduct revenue and cost analysis for marketing activities.
- Identify potential companies and partners for collaboration on marketing initiatives.
- Oversee all offline media management.
- Manage cinema site branding and ensure consistent appearance and messaging.
- Generate reports to track sales trends and customer behaviour.
- Handle influencer relations and management.
- Collaborate with the digital team and creative agencies for campaign briefs and execution.
- Manage ongoing cinema-level activations.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for in-cinema and aggregator channels.
- Track market share to ensure alignment with the business plan.
- Lead communications with technology partners such as IMAX, CGS, etc.
- Activate partnerships and ensure full support from all partners.
- Manage PR and media relations to ensure positive brand visibility.
- Maintain budget control and perform reconciliations with the finance department.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on cinema or entertainment industries.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
- Experience with digital marketing and influencer management.
- Familiarity with brand management and partnership activation.
