General Manager-FMCG

Develop and implement the company's strategic goals and objectives in alignment with corporate vision.
Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support company growth.
Analyze industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
Formulate long-term strategies to drive business expansion and profitability.
Operational Oversight:Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across manufacturing, distribution, marketing, sales, and customer service.
Optimize production, supply chain management, and logistics to meet company targets and minimize costs.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations across all operations.
Manage P&L, ensuring that the company's financial performance meets or exceeds targets.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to maximize profitability and cash flow.
Implement financial controls to ensure proper accounting, reporting, and forecasting practices.
Review financial statements and reports, making recommendations to senior leadership.
Team Management & Development:Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of senior managers and department heads.
Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Establish clear objectives for each department and ensure alignment with the company's goals.
Mentor and develop leadership talent within the company, ensuring succession planning for key roles.
Business Development & Sales:Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities in existing and new markets.
Develop partnerships, both domestic and international, to expand market share and brand presence.
Oversee sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, customer loyalty, and market penetration.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute product launch strategies.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and addressing complaints effectively.
Represent the company in meetings with government agencies, investors, and other stakeholders.
Identify business risks and develop risk management strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements specific to the FMCG industry.
Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals are achieved.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
10+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Proven track record in managing large teams, operations, and driving revenue growth.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L and financial performance.
Extensive knowledge of FMCG business practices, including manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and sales strategies.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business transformation and growth.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Preferred Experience:Experience in managing large-scale operations and overseeing multiple business functions.
Expertise in international business development and market expansion.
Knowledge of digital transformation and e-commerce trends within the FMCG sector.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and sustainability practices.
