Job Role

The Pre-Sales Engineer with AI expertise acts as a technical bridge between the sales team and potential clients, providing in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in AI-driven solutions. This role involves understanding customer challenges, designing tailored AI-powered solutions, and delivering compelling technical presentations and demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Non-stop learning, daily reading about the new updates in the AI field
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer challenges that can be addressed using AI technologies.
  • Design and propose AI-driven technical solutions tailored to client needs, such as predictive analytics, machine learning models, AI-powered automation, and data insights.
  • Create and deliver technical architecture documents, including AI workflows, data pipelines, and integration strategies.
  • Conduct AI solution demonstrations, highlighting features like machine learning capabilities, data visualization, and automated decision-making processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on AI technologies, their potential applications, and ROI benefits.
  • Address technical queries about AI implementation, data requirements, scalability, and customization options.
  • Assist in preparing detailed technical proposals, particularly for AI-focused projects.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with an emphasis on AI-driven functionalities and implementation strategies.
  • Work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and software developers to ensure proposed AI solutions are feasible and scalable.
  • Provide feedback to AI product teams based on client requirements and emerging market trends.
  • Deliver training to internal teams and clients on AI concepts, tools, and solution workflows.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest AI trends, technologies, and tools (e.g., machine learning frameworks, NLP, computer vision).
  • Collaborate with AI development and implementation teams to ensure smooth deployment of AI solutions.
  • Support the transition by providing technical documentation, including datasets, model training notes, and integration guides.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role with a focus on AI or machine learning solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
  • Ability to deploy opensource modules or connect to remote machines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in AI solution design.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage high-level discussions and guide clients through AI adoption processes.
