About the role

Tamara's ambition is to become the region's favorite way to pay for what we call life's little essentials – a new way of purchasing designed for and around our customers' interests. We believe that great design has the ability to engage and inspire.

Role Overview:

As the Fraud Product Manager, you will be a key driver of our product vision, working closely with engineers, data analysts, data scientists, designers, and other product managers. Your responsibilities span from guiding daily operations to defining and executing a long-term product strategy, employing creative problem-solving, pragmatic decision-making, and focused prioritization. You will champion new initiatives, foster product expansion and adoption, and ensure technical excellence across our solutions. Leveraging deep expertise in fraud prevention—covering areas such as payment fraud, machine learning, device fingerprinting, anomaly detection, experimentation—you will deliver forward-thinking strategies that protect our customers and merchants, safeguarding the integrity and success of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Collaboration: Guide cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and analysts to develop and implement effective fraud detection and compliance products.
  • Product Strategy and Development: Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems, focusing on internal product development and external vendor integration.
  • Product Analytics and Insights: Analyze fraud trends using data-driven insights and debug production issues across services.
  • User-Centric Problem Solving: Collaborate with functional teams, product and operations teams to understand user pain points and develop solutions.
  • Adaptive and Empathetic Teamwork: Work effectively with all team members through empathy and respect, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented outlook.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fraud detection or compliance.
  • Familiarity with any of the following fields is highly advantageous: fraud mitigation, real-time decision engines, machine learning, or data science.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and building products that protect platforms and users.
  • Driven, determined and curious team player with the ability to respond quickly and adapt without losing momentum.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work with engineers across the company and innovation in developing advanced product solutions.
