CPShub is hiring on behalf of a prestigious Giga Project client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical systems design and coordination across large-scale, high-performance buildings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Mechanical Design & Engineering:
    • Design and develop mechanical systems including HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, drainage, water supply, and firefighting systems.
    • Conduct load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection, and system integration.
    • Review and prepare technical submissions, shop drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
    • Ensure full compliance with Saudi building codes (SASO, NWC, etc.) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
  2. Project Coordination & Execution:
    • Collaborate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure smooth MEP coordination.
    • Supervise site installations, inspections, and testing & commissioning.
    • Attend coordination meetings with client representatives, consultants, and contractors to ensure progress and technical alignment.
  3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
    • Work directly with the Giga Project client team to ensure objectives, timelines, and quality expectations are met.
    • Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  4. Quality Control & Documentation:
    • Review and approve materials, method statements, and inspection/testing protocols.
    • Provide on-site technical support to resolve engineering issues.
    • Maintain adherence to project milestones, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in mechanical building services; must have experience with mega or giga projects.
  • Regional Knowledge: Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PMP, LEED AP, or ASHRAE membership is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on with AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), HAP, Elite, and MS Office.
  • Code Compliance: Familiarity with KSA local authority standards and approvals.
  • Certifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering (required); PMP, LEED, or local authority registration is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of construction techniques, sustainable design, and building codes.
  • Communication Skills: Capable of interacting with global stakeholders and multicultural teams.
  • Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
