Job Summary

We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Lending Product Management to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our lending products, from concept to launch and beyond. You will drive innovation, optimize existing products, and ensure our lending solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers and align with our strategic goals. This role requires a strong understanding of the lending landscape, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for lending products aligned with business objectives and market trends.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
    • Define product vision, strategy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  2. Customer Focus:
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand their needs and pain points.
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Advocate for the customer throughout the product development process.
  3. Risk and Compliance:
    • Ensure all lending products comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
    • Work closely with risk and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
    • Generate regular reports on product performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
    • Present product updates and recommendations to senior management.
  6. Project Management:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or roadblocks.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders.
    • Ensure adherence to project methodologies and standards.
  7. Technical Expertise:
    • Possess a strong understanding of financial services solutions and technologies.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the lending or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of lending products, including personal loans, product finance, BNPL, and Credit cards.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing lending products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with data analysis tools.
